Jordan chose to display and present only half of this photograph (captured in 2009 by her father), what’s missing on the other half is the cub’s mother lying in front on guard. She’s magnificent. She’s extraordinary. She’s a mother. The decision to cut off the photograph was made to display an illusion of late-stage Glaucoma. Pieces and corners of your vision are missing - in this case, without turning your head towards the right, you would have missed out on the cub’s mother.
